TerryLynn Melody is a singer songwriter and guitarist who performs ORIGINAL folk, country and blues. She does cover music as well, performing, pop, rock, country, blues and folk from the 50’s to today. Her music is heard regularly in Second Life and is available for purchase on her myspace page.
With nothing more than a guitar and her voice, this live acoustic musican is quickly gaining a following by captivating audiences with her songs and stories.
She has been performing in SL for a little over a month now and the responce has been overwhelming.

3. What do you feel makes your music special? (in your own heart, head)
I write about my life , using vivid descriptions of my memories… I believe all my songs teach me something about myself, and hope they connect in the same way with the listener
4. What have others said about your music in terms of your
A. Vocal style : I have a bit of county blues to my voice…. I’ve been told its “sweet and gritty”….I’ve won numerous Female vocalist awards on garageband.com and am most complimented on my voice. Fans have compared me to Melanie Safka, Sheryl Crowe, Janis Ian, and Janis Joplin
B. Acoustic style: as a guitarist my playing is fairly simple, I am no soloist on the guitar but i hold my own as an accompanist… I am first and foremost a vocalist
5. Anything else to tell prospective listeners about what kind of music you play and what makes it special? 🙂
Well crafted original songs sung by a pure voice…. I love telling the stories behind my songs…when I do the originals…. I also love giving covers my own personal twist. I choose a cover song not for its musical style but because I like the melody and lyric so my choice of covers will often cross many genres, you never know what you’ll hear… old, new, rock, blues, country, pop…I like it all most of all I like GOOD songwriting,
