Fyrm Fouroux sings his own original compositions, accompanying himself mainly on acoustic guitar, and a selection of covers where he plays his digital piano or keyboard synth. Usually he splits his show into a first half on acoustic guitar and then the second half on keyboards.

His music falls within the broad category of comtemporary acoustic or indie music. Some songs are peppered with a few jazz chords, others owe a debt to classical influences, and some are just variations on the 12 bar blues format. In a nutshell, his style is eclectic.
He is particularly interested in writing and singing about the mundane things that surround us and happen to us in everyday life, subjecting them to novel interpretations and, sometimes, doing that with a humourous touch.
