✖ MY STORY:
Where to start? I am 40 years young from Virginia. Ok lets start when I was young. My mother was a starving singer in Baltimore Maryland. She tried to sing a lot of blues types of songs and could never get a break. She made it in a club alright … as a bartender. She would get the every so often singing spots but never got a break. I was born and she gave up that dream to take care of me. I grew up and was always interested in music. My mother made me listen to R&B and blues. At the age of 12 I won a talent show in school and my teachers wanted me to join the Baltimore school of the arts. When I told my mother, she refused for me to go because she stated there was no making it as a singer. I didn’t get to go. As I grew up I was always involved in singing. For my church, friends and my girlfriends. I didn’t grow up to be a singer, I ended up being a manager for a corporation. Though I was very content in my real life career I turned singing as my escape from real life. I felt good making other people smile as I sang them a tune. It was a way to express myself and I was content with that.
